White Sage

Sage-Shell-Charcoal- Natural abalone shells are frequently used by those who smudge and cleanse with Native American herbs, such as our sage. The shells are beautiful enough to use as an altar bowl or to hold crystals and other treasures that you feel an energetic connection to; or use it for incense, cones or resin.
Some people look for abalone shells to burn charcoal tablets for burning resins such as copal, frankincense and myrrh. If you are looking for a shell for this purpose you will need to put an inch of sand in the bottom of the bowl to prevent the shell from getting too hot and burning you or the surface it is on.
